Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) saw a negative performance, weighed down by the fall of five sectors led by the energy and telecom.
The general index slid 0.49% or 23.07 points to reach 4,656.19 points by 10:45am UAE time.
The insurance sector was the worst performer after falling 1.66% as Abu Dhabi National Insurance Co. (ADNIC) sank 9.4%.
The energy sector slid 1.4% after Dana Gas levelled down 1.75%. The telecom sector also retreated 0.8% due to a decrease in Etisalat by 0.8%.
The market saw a turnover of AED 122.6 million after trading 95.1 million shares through 983 transactions.
