Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) witnessed an upward trend in Sunday’s early trades, backed by the rise of Etisalat and Dana Gas.
The general index went up 0.4% or 17.9 points to reach 4,552.8 points.
The energy sector increased 3.4% as Dana Gas gained 5.36%.
The telecom sector advanced 0.80% due to a rise in Etisalat by 0.80%.
The banks sector grew 0.39% after Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) and Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) levelled up 1.9% and 0.7%, respectively.
Turnover reached AED 93.8 million after trading 107.7 million shares through 810 transactions.
