Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) saw an upward trend in Tuesday’s early trades due to an increase in the real estate and banks sectors.
The general index gained 2.6% or 101.25 points to reach 3,896.23 points by 11:50am UAE time.
The UAE markets are likely to continue seeing speculations and building new positions after the losses they incurred in the past sessions and the drop of their stocks to low price levels, analysts earlier told Mubasher.
The real estate sector added 4.05% after Aldar advanced 4.12% to AED 2.02.
The banks sector levelled up 3.6% as First Gulf Bank grew 6.25%.
The energy sector recovered 2.6% due to a rise in TAQA by 12.2%.
The telecom sector increased 1.6% after Etisalat increased 1.6%.
The market saw trading of 30.16 million shares, with trading of AED 31.8 million traded 427 transactions.
