Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) opened at a rise on Monday, spurred by the positive performance of the energy and banks sectors.
The general index advanced 0.35% or 16.15 points to reach 4,565.57 points by 10:15am UAE time.
The energy sector increased 1.46% as Dana Gas grew at open.
The banks sector went up 0.6% due to a rise in Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB), Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) and National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD).
The market saw trading of 1.66 million shares through 19 transactions, with a turnover of AED 2.71 million.
