Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) opened in the green on Monday, backed by the rise of the real estate and banks sectors.
The general index gained 0.35% or 15.43 points to reach 4,432.11 points by 10:40am UAE time.
The real estate sector went up 1.6% after RAK Properties and Aldar Properties advanced 3.4% and 1.5%, respectively.
The banks sector grew 0.34% due to a rise in Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB), National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD) and First Gulf Bank (FGB) by 1.4%, 1.2% and 0.9, respectively.
Turnover stood at AED 14.89 million after trading 17.16 million shares through 232 transactions.
