Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) saw gains in Wednesday’s early trades, spurred by the energy, telecom and banks sectors.
By 11:15 am UAE time, the general index added 0.33% or 13.5 points to reach 4,153.73 points.
The energy sector rose 1.7% as Dana GAS went up 2.08%.
The telecom sector levelled up 0.93% after Etisalat increased identically 0.93%.
The banks sector was 0.14% higher after Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) and First Gulf Bank (FGB) advanced 0.14% and 0.42% in a row.
Meanwhile, the real estate sector slid 0.5% as Eshraq Properties and Aldar Properties fell 1.6% and 0.4%, respectively.
The industrial sector decreased 0.17% after Union Cement Company and Gulf Cement Company retreated 6.7% and 1.03% in a row.
Turnover stood at AED 46.19 million after trading 47.4 million shares through 481 transactions.
