Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) headed north in Wednesday’s early trades, backed by the energy and telecom sectors.
The general index grew 0.8% or 35.2 points to reach 4,344.23 points by 10:50am UAE time.
The energy sector advanced 1.9% as Dana Gas and TAQA levelled up 1.9% each.
The telecom sector rose 1.4% after Etisalat increased 1.4%.
The banks sector nudged up 0.6% as First Gulf Bank (FGB) grew 1.7%.
The real estate sector went up 0.6% due to an increase in Aldar by 0.7%.
The market saw trading of 103.15 million shares through 759 transactions, with turnover of AED 92.8 million.
