Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) opened in the red on Tuesday, driven down by the blue-chip stocks.
The general index declined 0.44% to reach 4,084.90 points by 11:00am UAE time.
The market saw trading of 122.23 million shares through 664 transactions, generating AED 100.63 million.
At open, sectors were collectively down, led by investment that decreased 8.7% as Waha Capital levelled down 2.9%.
The energy sector retreated 1.7% as Dana Gas slumped 2.08%.
The banks sector went down 0.7% due to a 1.3% decrease in First Gulf Bank.
The real estate sector also slid 0.6% after Aldar Properties slipped 1.3%.
Lastly, the telecom sector moved 0.3% lower as Etisalat went down 0.3%.
