Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) saw a bearish performance in Thursday’s early trades, weighed down by the fall of telecom and banks stocks.
The main index retreated 0.37% or 15.62 points to reach 4,248.88 points by 10:15am UAE time.
The market saw trading of 2.42 million shares through 52 transactions, with a turnover of AED 3.03 million.
The telecom sector led losers after falling 1.08% after Etisalat went down 1.08%.
The banks sector also retreated 0.12% after Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) and Union National Bank (UNB) sank 1.43% and 1.28% respectively.
Dana Gas saw the most active trading, generating AED 641,576 from the exchange of 1.21 million shares.
