Abu Dhabi - Mubasher: Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) opened on positive note on Sunday amid the gains of four market sectors topped by the telecom and the energy ones.
ADX main index advanced 0.86% or 38.29 points to 4,501.28 points.
The energy sector gained 1.46% as Dana gas added 1.8%, while the telecom sector advanced by 1.09% as Etisalat added also 1.09%.
The banking sector also went up 1.01% as First Gulf bank gained 2.4%.
Sunday early trading witnessed 18.34 million shares changed hands worth AED 15.69 million, carried out through 217 transactions.
