Mubasher: Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) reversed on Tuesday the downward trend it began three days ago, spurred by the telecom, banks and real estate sectors.
The general index increased 0.86% or 37 points to reach 4,318.52 points.
The telecom sector added 2.51% as Etisalat levelled up 2.51%.
The real estate sector grew 0.84%, backed by Aldar Properties which gained 0.76% to AED 2.66. Meanwhile, Eshraq Properties declined 1.32%.
Trading volume 65.4 million shares on Tuesday, compared to 75 million shares a day earlier.
Turnover grew to 129.179 million from AED 86.75 million.
The banks sector rose 0.21% as Invest Bank, Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) and National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD) went up 14.86%, 0.63% and 0.12%, respectively.
