Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) saw a positive performance in Thursday’s trading session, backed by the rise of blue chips topped by TAQA and Aldar Properties.
The general index added 0.48% or 16.13 points to reach 3,411.34 points by 11:30 am UAE time.
The energy sector topped gainers with a 3.22% rise as TAQA grew 12.5%.
The banks sector increased 1.17% as First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB), which trades under NBAD, climbed 2.23%. The real estate sector grew 0.69% as Aldar Properties went up 0.9%.
Turnover amounted to AED 140.53 million after trading 100.19 million shares through 1,341 transactions.
