Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) witnessed gains in Sunday’s mid-session, spurred by the growth of three sectors led by the rise of telecom and real estate.
The general index rose 0.35% or 16.18 points to reach 4,585.67 points by 11:15am UAE time.
The telecom sector was the best performer with a 1.13% rise as Etisalat gained 1.13%. The real estate sector increased 0.66% after Eshraq Properties and Aldar Properties went up 1.8% and 0.4% respectively.
The banks sector grew 0.24% after First Gulf Bank (FGB) increased 0.3%.
Turnover amounted to AED 68.07 million after trading 73.20 million shares through 568 transactions.
