Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) saw a positive performance on Monday, backed by the growth of three sectors.
The main index added 0.28% or 12.56 points to reach 4,511.28 points.
The real estate sector topped gainers with a 3.96% increase, backed by Aldar Properties which grew 4.44%.
The banks sector rose 0.47% after National Bank of Umm Al Qaiwain (NBQ) levelled up 5.36%.
On the other hand, the consumer staples sector led losers after falling 1.35%.
Trading volume reached 244.34 million shares on Monday, compared to 166.88 million shares on Sunday. Turnover amounted to AED 233.6 million, compared to AED 153.58 million.
Dana Gas, which stabilised at AED 0.60, was the most active stock after trading 151.3 million shares, with a turnover of AED 91.8 million.
