ADX rises on Aldar, NBAD at Monday's open

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) saw a positive performance in Monday’s early trades.

The main index rose 0.22% or 10.12 points to reach 4,534.12 points by 11:00 am UAE time.

The banks sector added 0.43% as Sharjah Islamic Bank and National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD) went up 8.82% and 0.47%, respectively.

The real estate sector advanced 0.23% after Aldar Properties gained 0.42%.

On the other hand, the investment sector fell 1.03% as Waha Capital retreated 1.14%. The energy sector also declined 0.33%.

The market saw trading of 10.19 million shares through 154 transactions, with a turnover of AED 13.22 million.
