Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) opened Thursday’ trading session at a rise, spurred by the growth of Aldar Properties and National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD).
The general index rose 0.19% or 8.33 points to reach 4,442.07 points by 10:07am UAE time.
The real estate sector was the best performer after gaining 1.43% as Aldar and Eshraq Properties increased 1.5% and 0.9% respectively.
The banks sector also levelled up 0.17% after NBAD grew 1.11%.
On the flipside, the energy sector fell 1.4% due to a decrease in Dana Gas by 1.8%.
Turnover stood at AED 74.97 million after trading 15.23 million shares through 175 transactions.
