Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The main index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) closed Sunday in the green zone after earning 14.64 points or 0.29% to settle at 5,088.13 points.
The trading value totalled AED 61.87 million, while the trading volume stood at 32.41 million shares exchanged through 691 transactions.
ADX’s market cap increased by AED 1.22 million to end the session at AED 520.01 billion, compared to 518.79 billion on Thursday.
The real estate sector led the gainers with a rise of 0.44%, while the energy and telecom segments retreated by 0.37% and 0.12%, respectively.
Emirates Driving Company was the top winner with 15%, while the United Arab Bank (UAB) was the top loser with 9.09%.
Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) recorded the highest liquidity of AED 10.58 million, the stock gained 0.79%.
Methaq Takaful Insurance was the most active stock on which 7.02 million shares were exchanged.
