Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) witnessed gains in Thursday’s early trades, spurred by the positive performance of the banks stocks.
The general index went up 0.44% or 19.31 points to reach 4,436.34 points by 10:40am UAE time.
The banks sector led gainers after adding 0.9% as First Gulf Bank (FGB) and National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD) rose at open.
The industrial sector increased 0.67% along with the growth of Julphar.
On the flipside, the telecom sector levelled down 0.26%.
Turnover reached AED 3.95 million after trading 1.7 million shares through 64 transactions.
