Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) saw a positive performance in Monday’s early trades, spurred by the growth of banks stocks.
The main index went up 0.20% or 8.46 points to reach 4,307.83 points by 10:25am UAE time.
The industrial sector was the best performer after adding 0.9%, backed by Arkan Building Materials which climbed 13.7%.
The energy sector advanced 0.38% after TAQA grew 1.7%. The banks sector levelled up 0.3% as National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD) and First Gulf Bank (FGB) increased 0.6% and 0.45% respectively.
Turnover reached AED 4.8 million after trading 4.13 million shares through 67 transactions.
