Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) opened Tuesday’s early trades in the green, spurred by the rise of blue chips topped by the energy and banks.
The general index went up 0.72% or 5.77 points to reach 4,251.57 points by 10:20am UAE time.
The energy sector was the best performer after adding 2.28% as Abu Dhabi National Energy (TAQA) and Dana Gas advanced 4% and 1.85% respectively.
The energy sector grew 1.15% after Etisalat gained 1.15%. Likewise, the banks sector increased 0.8% as First Gulf Bank (FGB) levelled up 1.28%.
On the flipside, the real estate sector fell 1.06% as Eshraq Properties and Aldar Properties declined 4.17% and 0.4% respectively.
Turnover reached AED 105.42 million after trading 99.15 million shares through 766 transactions.
