Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) saw a positive performance on Sunday, spurred by the rise of five sectors led by energy and industrials.
The main index grew 0.49% or 22.15 points to reach 4,498.72 points.
The energy sector added 9.48% as Dana Gas gained 13.21%. The industrial sector went up 1.09% after Julphar increased 4.55%.
The banks sector also rose 0.74% as National Bank of Umm Al Qaiwain (NBQ) climbed 5.66%.
On the other hand, the real estate sector fell 0.75% as Eshraq Properties and Aldar Properties retreated 1.87% and 0.88%, respectively.
Trading volume reached 166.88 million shares on Sunday, compared to 142.09 million shares last Thursday. Turnover amounted to AED 153.58 million, compared to AED 177.73 million.
Dana Gas was the most active stock with a trading volume of 109.4 million shares, generating AED 63.1 million.
