Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) saw a positive performance on Tuesday, spurred by the rise of real estate and banks sectors.
The general index rose 0.39% to reach 4,582.07 points.
Trading volume reached 72.29 million shares on Tuesday, compared to 48.29 million shares on Monday. Turnover amounted to AED 234.280 million, compared to AED 111.41 million.
The market was backed by the banks sector which was the best performer with a 0.77% rise as Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) and First Abu Dhabi Bank grew 2.08% and 0.89%, respectively.
The real estate sector added 0.3% as Eshraq Properties went up 1.9%.
On the other hand, the energy sector sank 0.46% as TAQA went down 1.69%.
ADCB was the value leader after generating AED 58.76 million from the exchange of 8.02 million shares.
