Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange’s (ADX) general index shed 333.54 points, or 6.6%, to 4,719.26 points in a week.
Market capitalisation went down to AED 486.132 billion over the week, compared to AED 512.799 billion a week earlier.
The banking sector levelled down 8.76%, as First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) declined by 12.18%, and the energy sector sank 4.83% after Dana Gas retreated 6.42%.
The investment sector shed 9.33%, as Eshraq Properties lost 8.18%, while the telecom sector and its only stock, Etisalat, went down 3.28% each.
The ADX’s trading volume reached 264.366 million shares, while the market’s liquidity hit AED 1.14 billion.
