Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The benchmark index of Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) gained 0.01% or 0.45 points to reach 4,527.01 points by the week ended 11 August.
During the week, liquidity grew to AED 627.628 million over the week as compared to AED 581.119 million in the previous week, while trading volume increased to 231.339 million shares as compared to 171.712 million in the past week.
The real estate sector levelled down 0.17% over the week, dragged by Aldar which lost 0.36%, while Eshraq rose by 1.39%.
The energy sector gained 1.94% in a week, on the back of TAQA which jumped by 10.20%. The telecom sector also edged up 0.25%.
ADX’s banks sector inched down 0.01%, dragged by FGB and ADCB which retreated by 0.42% and 0.29% respectively.
