Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) opened at a decline in Wednesday’s early trades, weighed by the banks sector.
The general index declined 0.03% or 4.44 points to reach 4,291.72 points by 11:30am UAE time.
The market saw trading of 39.69 million shares through 321 transactions, with turnover of AED 27.19 million.
The industrial sector declined 0.53%, weighed by Ras Al Khaimah Ceramic which lost 1.45%.
The banks sector decreased 0.39% as First Gulf Bank levelled down 0.7%.
The insurance sector went down 0.27% after Al Khazna Insurance Company retreated 9.37%.
On the flipside, the energy and real estate sectors rose 4.24% and 0.9% in a row.
Dana Gas was the value leader after generating AED 15.64 million from trading 31.14 million shares.
