Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) saw a positive performance on Monday.
The main index rose 0.03% or 1.37 points to reach 4,484.46 points.
The energy sector led losers with a 4.62% decline as Dana Gas grew 6.82%.
The telecom sector added 0.57% as Sudatel and Etisalat went up 1.96% and 0.57%, respectively.
On the other hand, the industrial sector fell 1.25% as Arkan Building Materials and RAK Ceramics declined 2.86% and 1.96%, respectively.
The real estate sector retreated 1.03% after Aldar Properties levelled down 1.33%.
Trading volume reached 182.86 million shares on Monday, compared to 68.12 million shares on Sunday. Turnover amounted to AED 213.53 million, compared to AED 89.88 million.
Dana was the value leader after generating AED 49.14 million from the exchange of 106.14 million shares.
