Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) saw a positive performance on Wednesday, backed by the rise of telecom and banks sectors.
The general index added 0.4% or 317.8 points to reach 4,566.61 points by 10:22am UAE time.
The telecom sector was the best performer with a 0.84% rise as Etisalat advanced 0.84%
The banks sector levelled up 0.5% after First Gulf Bank (FGB) increased 1.9%.
On the flipside, the investment sector led losers after falling 3.3%, weighed down by Waha Capital which retreated 3.5%.
The market saw trading of 54.43 million shares through 807 transactions, with a turnover of AED 103.26 million.
