Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) saw a positive performance in Thursday’s early trades, backed by the rise of banks and insurance sectors.
The main index went up 0.12% or 5.30 points to reach 4,295.74 points by 10:35am UAE time.
The banks sector was the best performer with a 0.42% increase as First Gulf Bank (FGB) and National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD) levelled up 0.85% and 0.45% respectively.
On the flipside, the telecom sector fell 0.28% as Etisalat slid 0.28%.
The market saw trading of 23.91 million shares through 246 transactions, with a turnover of AED 26.02 million.
