Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) saw a positive performance in Sunday’s early trades amid the rise of the banks, energy and real estate sectors.
The index gained 1.64% or 73.89 points to reach 4,571.53 points by 11:00am UAE time.
The banks sector was the value leader after adding 3.23%, backed by the rise of National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD) and First Gulf Bank (FGB).
The energy sector went up 1.85% as Dana Gas opened higher.
The real estate sector grew 0.21% due to an increase in Aldar Properties.
Turnover reached AED 68.8 million after trading 11.2 million shares through 519 transactions.
