Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) saw a positive performance in Thursday’s mid-session, backed by the rise of banks, real estate and telecom stocks.
The general index gained 0.03% or 1.48 points to reach 4,472.49 points by 11:40am UAE time.
The telecom sector rose 0.25%, while the real estate sector advanced 0.07% on the back of Aldar Properties which went up 0.36%.
The banks sector increased 0.07% after National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD) grew 0.66%.
On the flipside, the energy sector fell 2.53% as TAQA slid 5.66%. The consumer staples sector led losers after declining 2.67% after TAQA went down 5.66%.
