Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) saw a positive performance on Sunday, spurred by the rise of seven stocks led by Etisalat and First Gulf Bank (FGB).
The main index advanced 0.02% or 0.98 points to reach 4,570.47 points.
The industrial sector topped gainers with a 0.54% rise as Arkan Building Materials climbed 4.7%. The telecom sector also added 0.28% after Etisalat increased 0.28%.
The banks sector went up 0.11% after Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) and First Gulf Bank (FGB) grew 0.77% and 0.75% respectively.
On the other hand, the energy sector fell 3.02% as Dana Gas declined 3.77%.
The investment sector sank 0.84% after Waha Capital levelled down 0.9%.
Trading volume reached 148.12 million shares on Sunday, compared to 118.52 million shares last Thursday. Turnover amounted to AED 171.72 million, compared to AED 215.06 million.
