Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities (ADX) witnessed a bearish performance in the week ended 1 September, hitting its highest losses in around six weeks.
The main index fell 0.87% or 39.18 points to reach 4,480.65 points.
Turnover stood at AED 657.08 million this week, compared to AED 644.28 million last week. Trading volume reached 394.71 million shares, compared to 332.61 million shares.
The telecom sector fell 1.01% as Etisalat slid 1.01%.
The banks sector declined 1.08% as First Gulf Bank (FGB) and Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) retreated 1.25% and 0.47% respectively.
On the flipside, the real estate sector rose 0.36% as Eshraq Properties advanced 2.56%.
