Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) witnessed a downward trend in Wednesday’s early trades, amid a decline in most sectors.
The general index retreated 0.6% or 29 points to reach 4,573.3 points by 10:50am UAE time.
The energy sector fell 1.6% as Dana Gas lost 1.7%.
The banks sector levelled down 1.16%, pressured by Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) which shed 6.7%.
The consumer staples sector lost 0.56% after Agthia Group decreased 0.6%.
The real estate sector went down 0.23% as Eshraq Properties slid 1.2%.
Turnover reached AED 54.6 million and 30.3 million shares were traded through 449 transactions.
