Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) saw a bearish performance for the third straight week in a row, backed by the telecom, investment and banks sectors.
The general index declined 0.9% or 41.36 to 4,387.25 points.
Trading volume reached 660.57 million shares this week, compared to 310.78 million shares last week.
Turnover rose to AED 854.39 million from AED 550.89 million.
The telecom sector dived 3.9% due to a decline in Etisalat.
The energy sector retreated 0.78% as TAQA decreased 3.6%.
The investment sector slid 1.4% as Waha Capital, and Oman and Emirates Investment Holding went down 1.5% and 9.5% in a row.
The banks sector fell 0.2% as Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB), Union National Bank (UNB) and First Gulf Bank (FGB) slid 3.3%, 1.7% and 0.8% respectively.
On the flipside, the real estate sector advanced 1.7% as Aldar Properties rose 0.7%.
