Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) saw a negative performance in Thursday’s early trades, in line with the decline of blue chips topped by Etisalat.
The general index fell 0.30% or 13.69 points to reach 4,560.44 points by 10:45am UAE time.
The telecom sector was the worst performer after declining 0.51%, weighed down by Etisalat.
The banks sector slipped 0.25% as National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD) and First Gulf Bank (FGB) opened lower.
The real estate sector went down 0.23% due to a decrease in Aldar Properties.
Turnover stood at AED 22.23 million after trading 13.65 million shares through 216 transactions.
