Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) saw a bearish performance in Tuesday’s early trades, pressured by blue chips led by Etisalat.
The general index fell 1.5% or 66.6 points to reach 4,318.33 points by 10:50am UAE time.
The UAE stock markets are expected to see a slight profit-taking activity on Tuesday, after the decline of oil and global markets, technical analyst Salam Saeed said.
The telecom sector retreated 2.5% as Etisalat declined 2.5%.
The real estate sector levelled down 2.4% after Aldar Properties slid 1.4%.
The banks sector lost 1.2%, led down by First Gulf Bank (FGB) which decreased 1.7%.
Turnover reached AED 36.7 million after 37.2 million shares were traded through 450 transactions.
