Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) witnessed an upward trend in Tuesday’s early trades.
The general index rose 0.03% to reach 4,215.63 points by 11:00am UAE time.
The market saw trading of 12.81 million shares through 158 transactions, with turnover of AED 14.88 million.
The UAE markets are likely to see a positive performance on Tuesday as some investors in portfolios tend to accumulate and speculate in some selective stocks, analysts previously told Mubasher.
The real estate sector rose 0.47% as Aldar Properties advanced 0.9%.
The telecom sector added 0.31% due to an increase in Etisalat by 0.31%.
On the flipside, the consumer staples, insurance and industrial sectors retreated 1.2%, 0.69% and 0.24%, respectively.
