Abu Dhabi - Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) witnessed gains this week, supported by the strong performance by energy, banks, and real estate sectors.
The Abu Dhabi General Index (ADI) went up by 0.34% as it ended the week at 4,594.98 points.
As for the market sectors, energy rose 2.48% as Dana Gas and TAQA added 4.11% and 3.95%, respectively.
Banks gained 1.16%, as FAB and ADCB rose 2.20% and 2.05%, respectively, while the real estate sector increased by 1.03%.
On the other hand, the telecom sector lost 1.72%, as Etisalat declines with the same percentage.
Traded volumes surged to 454.652 million shares, from 272.513 million shares last week, with turnovers rising to AED 846.968 million from AED 571.11 million.
Meanwhile, the market cap decreased by around AED 480 million, to a total of AED 468.64 billion.
