Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange’s (ADX) general index lost 60.6 points, or 1.33%, to close at 4,479.49 points on Tuesday.
The ADX’s trading volume reached 101 million shares, while the market’s liquidity hit AED 170.69 million.
The energy sector tumbled 2.46% after Dana Gas dropped 5.36%.
The banks sector went down 1.65%, as First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) declined 2.15%, while the telecommunication sector and its only stock, Etisalat, sank 1.47% each.
Meanwhile, the real estate sector added 0.39% after Aldar Properties grew 0.49%.
Dana Gas led the ADX in terms of both trading volume and value, with 54.26 million shares and a turnover of AED 58.45 million.
