Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange’s (ADX) general index went down 152.11 points, or 2.8%, to 5,242.58 points in a week.
The telecommunication sector and its only stock, Etisalat, shed 3.46% each, while the banking sector retreated 3.6%, as First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB), Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB), and Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) lost 4.08%, 3.4%, and 1.24%, respectively.
The real estate sector levelled down 3.04% after Aldar Properties shed 4.8% to AED 1.87.
The DFM’s trading volume reached 280.36 million shares, while the market’s liquidity hit AED 1.77 billion.
