Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The general index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange lost 65.41 points, or 1.07%, to 5,107.76 points in a week.
Market capitalisation went down to AED 521.799 billion over the week, compared to AED 525.433 billion in the previous week.
The telecom sector and its stock Etisalat declined by 0.24% each. The banking sector shed 1.6%, as First Abu Dhabi Bank decreased by 2.6%.
The energy sector lost 1.6% after Adnoc Distribution levelled down by 2.6% and Taqa sank 2.9%.
At the other end of the spectrum, the real estate sector grew by 1.7%, as Aldar Properties gained 1.7%.
The ADX’s trading volume amounted to 256.37 million shares, while the market’s liquidity hit AED 724.47 million.
