Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) closed Sunday’s trading session in the red territory.
The ADX’s general index shed 39.27 points, or 0.73%, to 5,348.50 points.
Trading volume amounted to 67 million shares exchanged through a turnover of AED 92.81 million through 1,037 transactions.
The bourse’s market capitalisation lost AED 3.42 million and closed the session at AED 546.216 billion.
The energy, the real estate, the banks, and the telecommunication sectors fell 2%, 1.60%, 0.79%, and 0.56%, respectively.
Dana Gas was the most heavily traded stock with a trading volume of 32.116 million shares exchanged at a turnover of AED 34.547 million.
Most of the blue-chip stocks declined today, including Aldar Properties, First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB), and Taqa, falling 1.69%, 1.12%, and 0.65%, respectively.
On the other hand, Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank’s (ADCB) stock was the sole riser, jumping 1% to AED 9.
