Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange’s (ADX) general index edged lower by 0.04% or 1.97 points to close at 4,930 points on Tuesday.
Blue chips suffered selling, led by ADNOC Distribution’s stock, which lost 3.52% to AED 2.19.
Dana Gas, RAK Properties, and First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) fell 0.88%, 0.65%, and 0.14%, respectively.
On the other hand, the real estate sector gained 0.28% after Eshraq Properties and Manazel Real Estate increased 3.12% and 0.92%, respectively. Moreover, the telecom sector and its stock Etisalat added 0.73% each.
The ADX’s trading volume reached 73.83 million shares, exchanged at a total value of AED 178.55 million through 1,352 transactions against 123.674 million shares, a turnover of AED 212.210 million, and 1,397 transactions on Monday.
