Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) ended Monday slightly down as the banking sector retreated while the real estate sector increased.
The general index edged down 0.06% or 2.81 points and closed at 4,365.09 points.
Trading was higher on Monday, reaching 36.45 million shares with a turnover of AED 72 million, against Sunday’s 35.39 million shares and traded value of AED 57.28 million.
The banking sector lost 0.25% as the National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD) and Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) dropped 2.36% and 1.48%, respectively.
On the other hand, the real estate sector added 0.51% as Aldar Properties grew 0.37%, leading the most active stock in terms of traded value with AED 13.55 million.
