Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) has closed Sunday’s trading session in the red territory for the fourth consecutive session.
The ADX’s general index went down 50.3 points, or 0.96%, to 5,179.93 points.
Trading volume amounted to 36.49 million shares exchanged through 755 transactions at a turnover of AED 80.6 million.
The real estate sector fell 3.66% as Aldar Properties and RAK Properties slid 3.9% and 0.21%, respectively.
The banks sector shed 1.09% after Bank of Sharjah’s stock dipped 2.15% and First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) went down 1.41%.
Similarly, the telecommunication sector slipped 0.48% as its sole stock Etisalat fell by the same percentage.
Moreover, the insurance sector inched down 0.03% as Methaq Takaful Insurance’s stock slipped 1.1%.
