Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) closed its activities in the first week of 2019 in the green after jumping 66.97 points, or 1.39%, to 4,831.23 points.
The energy sector surged 11.71% as Dana Gas’ stock soared 14.46%, while the real estate sector levelled up 4.76% after Aldar Properties’ stock grew 4.55%.
The banks sector inched up 0.68% after First Abu Dhabi Bank’s (FAB) stock edged up 0.43%, while Commercial Bank International’s (CBI) stock gained 14.47%.
On the flipside, the insurance sector shed 0.04%.
