ADX starts session in red as real estate falls

Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: The main index of Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) retreated by 0.12% or 6.32 points to reach 4,375.81 points by 10:40 am UAE time on Sunday.

The real estate sector led the decliners by 1.04%, as both Eshraq and Aldar levelled down 1.23% and 1.09% respectively.

The banks sector edged down 0.01%, dragged by Union National Bank and Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank which lost 1.45% and 0.9% respectively.

Meanwhile, the investment sector was the only gainer by a rise of 0.47%, backed by Waha Capital.

ADX’s liquidity stood at AED 14.3 million, while trading volume reached 6.21 million shares that were exchanged through 152 deals.
