Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Abu Dhabi bourse’s main index declined by 0.10% or 4.3 points to the level of 4,215.54 points in mid trading after an early rise of 0.14% or 6 points to 4,225.8 points.
Trading volume reached 91.94 shares exchanged through 1,011 trades, making a trading value of AED 103.03 million.
The real estate sector slipped by 1.4% to top the losers, as Al Dar and Manazil properties fell by 2.1% and 1.7%, respectively.
A 0.7% decrease in Etisalat share stung the telecom sector as it went down 0.65%.The banking shrank 0.4%.
However, the energy sector rose by 14.4%, thankes to Taqa and Dana Gas shares which leapt by 14.6% and 13.6%, respectively.
Analysts suggested, in statements to Mubasher, that United Arab Emirates stock markets are suffering from lack of catalysts in the current period, which gave speculators the chance to take control of the bourses, something that reflected negatively on liquidity.
