Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) saw a positive performance in Thursday’s early trades, spurred by the rise of four sectors led by the banks and real estate.
The main index rose 0.27% or 11.44 points to reach 4,271.06 points by 11:00am UAE time.
The banks sector was the best performer after gaining 0.9%, backed by First Gulf Bank (FGB) went up 0.8%. The real estate sector also grew 0.3% after Aldar Properties levelled up 0.4%.
On the flipside, the energy sector declined 2.8% as Dana Gas went down 3.45%.
Turnover reached AED 173.3 million after trading 91.02 million shares through 505 transactions.
