Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) opened Thursday’s trading in green, backed by the stocks of Aldar Properties and Etisalat.
The bourse’s main gauge rose 0.6% or 20 points to the level of 4,467.57 points.
Trading volume reached 31 million shares exchanged at AED 69 million ($18.79 million) through 493 transactions.
Technical analysts expected the UAE stock markets to continue their positive performance today.
The real estate sector advanced 0.7% as Aldar rose 1.08%.
The telecom sector climbed 0.27%, backed by Etisalat which increased by the same percentage.
Also the banks sector grew 0.13% as National Bank of Abu Dhabi and Union National Bank rose by 0.9% and 0.27% respectively.
The benchmark index closed Wednesday’s trading in the green territory.
